Solanascape

From fresh spawn to first million

Solanascape plays like 2004 RuneScape at 5× speed — five times the skilling XP, combat XP, and quest gold. Everything you fish, mine, chop, or loot is worth real gp because players are the economy: there's no coin shop, so every coin in the game was earned by someone and spent by someone else. This guide walks the whole road — first hour, first quests, your money-making grind, selling smart on the Grand Exchange, and (if you want) turning gp into SOL or SCAPE at the end of it.

The one-sentence version: gear up through quests, pick a gathering skill you enjoy, sell what you produce on the Grand Exchange, and let the gp compound. Nothing here requires a wallet — crypto is an optional exit at the very end, never an entry fee.

Your first hour · Lumbridge

Get equipped and oriented

Create your character at /play, accept your look, and skip Tutorial Island — you spawn at the Lumbridge hub, which is home base for everything early. Find the Solana Guide in purple robes on the hub square and start Initiation — the quest chain arms and pays you as you go, so there's no shopping trip before the fun starts.

Before you wander off, flip on the Quest Helper — it lives in the Plugins tab of the command deck beside the game and appears once you're in-world. It marks exactly where to go for every quest, which saves an enormous amount of early confusion. The meme quests around Lumbridge and Draynor (Pepe, Chillhouse, Sir Larpington) are quick and pay out fast gp while you learn the map.

Days 1–3 · The storyline

Quest your way into real gear

The Solana chain — Initiation → Forge → Oath → Warden → Arena — is your gear ladder. Each step rewards equipment and quest gold at the 5× rate, and the chain paces itself around adventures (side objectives the Guide tracks for you). Fifteen adventures earns the Initiation scimitar; keep going and you'll climb all the way into adamant-tier storyline gear without ever buying a weapon.

Run meme and crypto quests in parallel whenever one is nearby — they share the same map routes, and the crypto chain (starting at the Web Guide) unlocks pets and bigger payouts later. The map guides lay out efficient orders if you like a plan.

Your grind · pick one and bank it

Turn a skill into an income

This is the heart of the game. At 5× XP you reach money-making tiers far sooner than classic RS — the trick is to pick one route, produce in bulk, and sell where players actually buy. Consumables are the safest money in the game: food, runes, and ores get bought again and again, while flashy rares only sell on a good day.

StageReliable earners
Starting outCowhides outside Lumbridge · willow logs at Draynor · trout from the river, cooked and listed
Getting establishedIron ore (sell raw or smith into platebodies) · lobsters and swordfish — PvM food never stops selling · nature and law runes if you take up Runecrafting
Late gameYews and magic logs · runite · dragon bones from green dragons · Slayer and boss drops · GE flipping, if you have the capital and the stomach

Before you grind anything, glance at the economy dashboard — it shows live guide prices and real trade charts for every item, so you never spend an afternoon farming something nobody buys. And when you list, check the live sell offers first: undercutting an active seller by a little moves your stock much faster than matching them.

4
Selling · the Grand Exchange

Sell smart, collect, compound

The Grand Exchange is in-game only — talk to an Exchange Clerk at the GE hub northwest of Varrock (any travel post takes you there). Selling is simple: pick the item from your side inventory, set a price using the guide and lowest-sell hints in chat, and confirm. Buying with gp happens right from the browse grid; members can instead hit Buy SCAPE on any listing and pay through Phantom. Completed trades land in your Collect tab.

Two tools make this smoother: the GE History tab in the command deck shows every trade you've completed and at what price — your own private sales record — and the treasury still stocks a wide set of staples, so essentials are always purchasable while player listings set the real prices.

Cash out — gp and items into crypto

When your bank is fatter than your plans, there are two exits. The GP Exchange (its own tab in the command deck, with a public order book at /gp) lets you list raw gp for sale — buyers pay SOL or SCAPE, you receive crypto minus a 1.5% fee. It needs total level 10 and membership, which keeps the market to real players.

Items convert too: when a member buys your GE listing with SCAPE, the proceeds accumulate in your GE earnings vault — claim them to your wallet any time from the Wallet tab (2% GE fee on token sales). Skill → sell → claim: the whole loop, if you choose to run it.

Link your Discord (optional, 30 seconds)

Type /verify in game chat (close the GE window first) to get a private 8-character code, then redeem it in Discord. Linking gets you the Linked Player role, drop announcements, and referral tracking.

A day in the loop

Most regulars settle into the same rhythm: check prices and list last night's output in the morning, spend the session on one skill plus one quest step, then collect GE proceeds in the evening and bank — or list gp on the GP Exchange if you're cashing out. For the social hours there's the Duel Arena (gp, SOL, or SCAPE stakes), Flower Poker, and the new dice game — grab a Pair of Dice from the Supply Shop and challenge anyone, high roll takes the pot.
